SAVE THE DATE: THE PLASTIC HEALTH SUMMIT GETS A SEQUEL!
Plastic Health Coalition

Amsterdam, December 3rd, 2019 – The 2019 Plastic Health Summit was such a huge success that we decided to continue it for the next two years. Once again, this event will take place in Amsterdam. Would you like to join us? Then please block the 29th of October 2020 in your agenda! This edition promises to be even more spectacular than last year!
During the Plastic Health Summit on October 3rd, 2019, we provided the first evidence that micro- and nanoplastics are likely to be a danger to human health. With this shocking news, we have awakened 400 million people worldwide. That is why we need to take action now and stimulate further scientific research into the health effects of plastic.
Call for scientists and innovators: sign up!
For the second edition, we are looking for scientists who are conducting innovative research into the possible health effects of plastic. Scientists who are not afraid to speak out about their results and find it important that their research does not disappear in a drawer. We are also looking for solutions to the plastics problem and for innovators who are eager to share their innovation with an audience of millions.
Are you that scientist or innovator, or do you know someone who is? Then get in touch with us!
Cooperation is the key to change
The Plastic Health Summit is an unique event in the field of global public health. Not only because it is the first conference on the subject of plastic and human health, but also because it brings together all stakeholders: scientists, innovators, NGOs, industry and consumers. Sian Sutherland of A Plastic Planet states in the video below: ‘We need to collaborate in order to have the impact that is so urgent right now.’
